A few weeks ago, I dropped the digital on the camera from about 6-12 inches off the ground. It wasn’t a long fall, and the camera was shut off and capped up, but it does seem to have had an effect on the camera. We have to hold the shutter down longer and press it harder for the picture to take, and there’s sometimes a little fuzzy spot in the picture. When we went to take a picture last night (a belly shot to show where I started, although frankly there’s already a belly there, and it has nothing to do with being pregnant), Wes commented that we might want to replace the camera in the next few months.
“You don’t go into the Superbowl with a cracked helmet,” he said.
