When Emme doesn't want to go to bed and I'm home, she stands at her door and yells, "I want momma!" When I'm not home, she stands at her door and yells, "Basketball" (ie. lay on the couch with dad while he watches basketball, a habit that began in her infancy).

Lite brite
Oliver's wearing some new glow-in-the-dark space jammies. He came out to show his dad and said they're so bright, he's not sure he can sleep in them. So he's going to hide them under the covers.

Short story
Evidently my two-year-old doesn't know what shorts are. Tonight, her grandmother tried to get her into a short-john sleep set, but Emme wouldn't leave on the bottoms. She kept pulling the bottoms of the hem down and saying, "Too short."

Multi-media
I love it when Oliver tells me things like, "You know, mom, Darf (sic) Vader had a red car. He did" with great seriousness.

Big girl(s)
This afternoon, Emme had an accident at the park. Unfortunately, I had neither a Pull-up nor spare pants for her. I did, however, have Zola's diaper bag. And as it turns out, my 26-month-old girl can wear the same size diaper and pants (a bit short, since they're 6-12 mos., but still) as her 7-month-old sister -- and maybe with more spare room!
