My dear friend Kim has made a formal appeal to the baby for her arrival (similar to the one I made to her daughter, who arrived a day or two later).  Feel free to join her by sharing your sentiments with the baby in the comments section.  Perhaps she can read through my abdominal wall and will be moved -- literally -- by your comments.

Three years ago today...

I wrote my first post for this blog.  I didn't post until weeks later, after there had been ultrasounds and a midwife's appointment to confirm that I was, in fact, pregnant and the baby was viable.  I had hoped that today would bring another first and new beginning, but nope -- still here on the couch.  But very cool that I've been blogging here for three years now!  Thanks for reading, those who do.
